tooth #5

Anna finally lost her first tooth on top. She was so nervous about losing it as she didn't know how she would look or how she would eat.

Once she finally let Jeff give it a tug it came right out and she looks so darn cute.

The one next to it is pretty wiggly, too.

oh snap

This poor tree has suffered through many storms... but it finally lost its battle last week when we had some strong winds.... Jeff was always wishful that tree would make a fully recovery. Sorry, buddy.

kids were surprised to see the tree in the morning

trying so hard to fix it.

Lake time

With soccer consuming many of our weekends we were excited to finally have some time at the lake. Joe, Amy and Ellie were there and we were looking forward to seeing them as we haven't seen them since last August! Ugh.

The kids played and swam and boated and did everything in their power to hunt down the ice cream truck. We had a really nice relaxing weekend.

It was great to see John and Linda too.

We plan to spend lots of time at the lake in July and August.

Soccer Tournament in Mpls

Isaac had his first traveling soccer experience last weekend. We went to Minneapolis where he played 3 games. It was a hot one! He played one game on Saturday afternoon and my aunt Patty was able to come watch. His other 2 games were on Sunday morning and again at 1pm.

Capri was also playing in the tournament so we all stayed at the same hotel. And went to each others games.

After their games the kids swam and played with all their friends from the team. They had a kickball game outside in the back and spent some time in the hotel fitness center working out. Mandy and I went and hit some shops.

Isaac played his heart out in all 3 games. It was so fun to watch him and his team. Isaac scored 2 points and was aggressive and alert and totally zoned in.

We can't wait for his next and last tournament of the year- a couple weeks in Fargo.

Charlie's mom grew up 2 doors down from me and was my best childhood friend.
Its so fun to see these boys become friends through soccer and guitar.

baseball season!

Another season baseball is underway and the weather has been perfect for evening games. Isaac is excelling very well considering he hasn't been at all the practices due to conflicting soccer commitments.

Sports are currently our life. We sure are having fun.

Happy Birthday, Jeff!

Jeff turned the big 43 last week. We had so many things going on that day we were lucky enough to go to lunch- just the 2 of us. That evening Isaac had soccer practice and Jeff went to watch the basketball game with friends.

Even though life is crazy, we still try to take the time to celebrate.

We did celebrate the night before with family for Sullivan's 5th birthday.
